0. What is the shipping time to my country?

You can see the shipping time in the cart or checkout page. Outside EU we use express shipping.
In EU: 3-7 days
Worldwide express: 3-10 days. It usually arrives in 3-5 days in most worldwide shipping destinations.

1. Which countries do you ship to?

At the moment we ship to: Europe, North America, Japan, Indonesia, United Arab Emirates and Singapore. Ask for shipping quote if your country isn’t listed in the checkout.

2. Do you sell the bike/frame in a bike shop?

We do not sell the bike/frame to bike shops yet. You can check out reviews on Youtube to get a better overview
of the bike.

3. Which frame size should I choose?

You can see recommend frame sizes in product pages under tab “Features”. We have also added it here bellow:

Recommendation:
52cm frame for riders from 155cm (5’1″) to 177cm (5’95″)
55cm frame for riders from 170cm (5’7″) to 180cm (5’11″)
58cm frame for riders from 177cm (5’95″) to 195cm (6’5″)

Can I have gears on fubi?

Yes, you can have gear hubs but not gear derailleur hubs. This is because of the different width of cassette hubs and the derailleur hanger which is needed.  A 3 speed Sturmey-Archer freewheel gear hub alternative is available. The O.L.D is 120mm wide (Over-Locknut Dimension).

What are the biggest tires I can have on FUBi

Up to 700X28 C or ISO 28-622 will certainly fit.

What are the docking and protective spur, is it included?

The FUBi docking mechanism will keep the wheels locked when folded.
The protective spur protects the saddle when the bike is folded and lean on the saddle.
Both parts are included when you purchase a frame or a complete bike.

What colors are available on fubifixie

At the moment we only have black or white.

What is included when I purchase the frame?

The frame comes ready assembled with fork, headset and bottom bracket.

Included:

-The FUBi frame
-The fork, threaded 25.4mm ( works with 22.2mm quill stem)
(works with both caliper brake and disc brake: Ø160mm and Ø180mm discs.)
-Bottom bracket, square tapper 103mm or 110mm long.
-Headset
-Docking mechanism for the folding

What is open-able chainstay?

Open-able chainstay is made so the bike can be compatible with belt drive. The split is situated in the seatstay as seen in the picture bellow:

What is the seat post size?

27.2mm

What is the spacing/O.L.D for the rear hub?

120mm. We do not currently have a bike for 135mm.

What is the weight limit on FUBi?

On bicycles the main point of failure is usually the wheel sets. It is fairly common to have spokes failure and even to have axis breakage on cassette hubs. Axis breakage on FUBi will not be likely since quick release axis are not used.
We also use 36 spokes on the wheels as this gives stronger wheels.
Generally there are no weight limits on non-folding bicycles. On FUBi as it is a folding bicycle there is a weight limit of 130kg (285 lbs).

What type of bottom bracket does FUBi have?

Conventional threaded 68mm, Square Taper BB 103mm or 110mm

Will it be play in the pivots after some time?

We have tested the FUBi system for many years. As well as fatigue test that resembles 10years of heavy use.
